What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
KaamConnect Pvt Ltd ("we", "us") operates KaamConnect, a platform that connects customers with household and skilled service providers. Our registered address is Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 303020.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
What we collect
When you register: your name, mobile number and email address.
If you list as a worker or vendor: the above, plus your service area, rates, experience, and identity, address and skill documents you choose to submit for verification.
When you use the platform: enquiries you send, engagements you enter, reviews you write, and basic technical records such as IP address and device type.
Payments: handled by our payment gateway. We store the payment reference and amount. We never see or store your card number or UPI PIN.
Why we use it
To operate the service you asked for: showing your profile to relevant customers, connecting the two sides of a job, verifying identity so the platform can be trusted, taking payment, and meeting legal obligations such as tax records.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising by third parties.
Verification documents
Documents you submit for verification are reviewed by our staff and are not published. Only the resulting verification level appears on your public profile. Contact details are never shown publicly.
How long we keep it
Active accounts are kept while the account exists. An inactive account is erased after 24 months, except where a law requires us to keep a record longer — tax records, for example.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and that deletion is real rather than a hidden flag.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you. Settings gives you a full download.
- Correct anything inaccurate. Some fields are changed by request so our records stay consistent with your documents.
- Erase your data by deleting your account.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
- Withdraw consent. Where processing rests on consent, withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.
- Complain to us first, and to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.

Changes
We publish the effective date on this page. Material changes are notified to registered users.
